Commencing at the confluence of Gogango Creek and the Fitzroy River, and bounded thence by a line north-westerly to the watershed separating the Mackenzie and Isaac Rivers from the Lower Fitzroy River ; thence by that watershed north-westerly to where it is intersected by the road from Broadsound to Clermont, passing through Mackenzie Station ; thence by the south side of that road south-westerly to Peak Range ; thence by the eastern watershed of Crinum Creek and the Nogoa River to the west corner of Carrangara Run ; thence by part of the south-west boundary of that run and the north-west boundary of Lurline Run to the Nogoa River ; thence by that river downwards to its confluence with the Comet River ; thence by a line bearing east-south-east passing through Taurus Station to Expedition Range, and by that range to the head of Bridgewater Creek ; thence by that creek downwards to its confluence with the Mackenzie River ; thence by that river and the Fitzroy River downwards to the point of commencement.
