No. 13.—CARDWELL DISTRICT.
Commencing at Cape Grafton, and bounded on the north-west by a line bearing south-west ; then by the north-western watershed of the Herbert River ; on the south-west by the watershed separating the Herbert River and other waters flowing direct to the coast from the Burdekin River south-easterly ; on the south by the nineteenth degree of south latitude east to Halifax Bay ; and on the north-east by the seacoast north-westerly to the point of commencement.
Sub-District No.1.—Town and environs of Cardwell.
Sub-District No.2.—Remainder of District.
No. 14.—TOWNSVILLE DISTRICT.
Commencing at the mouth of the Burdekin River, and bounded on the south by that river upwards to the junction of the Bogie River ; then by a line bearing west to the watershed separating the Upper and Lower Burdekin Rivers ; on the south-west by that watershed and the watershed separating the Upper Burdekin from waters flowing direct to the coast bearing north-westerly ; on the north by the nineteenth degree of south latitude east to Halifax bay ; and on the north-east by the sea-coast south-easterly to the point of commencement.
Sub-District No.1.—Town of Townsville.
Sub-District No.2.—Comprising all that portion of the district north of the new Dalrymple road.
Sub-District No.3.—Comprising that portion of the district south of the town boundary, and east of the Townsville and Bowen Telegraph line.
Sub-District No.4.—Comprising that portion of the district south of the new Dalrymple road, and west of the Townsville and Bowen Telegraph line.
No. 15.—BOWEN DISTRICT.
Commencing at the mouth of the Burdekin River, and bounded on the north by that river upwards to the Bogie River ; on the south-west by that watershed separating the Bogie River from the Burdekin and Bowen Rivers southerly ; on the south by the Andromache River and O'Connell River easterly to Repulse Bay ; and on the north-east by the sea-coast to the point of commencement.
Sub-District No.1.—Municipality of Bowen, being part of the parish of Pring.
Sub-District No.2.—The remainder of the parish of Pring, and the whole of the parishes of Dargin, Kelsey, and Marlow.
Sub-District No.3.—Commencing at the mouth of Euri Creek, and bounded thence by the sea-coast northerly to the mouth of the Burdekin ; thence by that river upwards to the Bogie River ; thence by the watershed separating the Bogie River from the Burdekin and Bowen Rivers southerly to the junction of the Bowen Downs and Nedo roads at Tabletop Creek ; thence by the Bowen main road to a point where it crosses Euri Creek ; and thence by that creek downwards to the point of commencement.
Sub-District No.4.—Commencing on Euri Creek at the south-west corner of the parish of Marlow, thence by that creek upwards to a point where the main Bowen road crosses it at Clark's inn ; thence by the main road past Eton Vale to the junction of the Bowen Downs and Nebo roads at Tabletop Creek ; thence by the eastern watershed of the Bowen River southerly to the Andromache River, and by that river and the O'Connell River easterly to Repulse Bay ; thence by the sea-coast northerly to the south-east corner of parish of Dargin ; thence by the southern boundary of that parish and the parish of Marlow easterly to the point of commencement.
No. 16.—KENNEDY NORTH DISTRICT.
Commencing at the junction of the Bogie River with the Burdekin River, and bounded thence by a line bearing west to the watershed separating the Upper Burdekin from the Lower Burdekin ; then by said watershed and the watershed separating the Upper Burdekin from waters flowing direct to the east coast northerly to the head of the Burdekin River ; then by the northern and western watersheds of the Burdekin westerly and southerly ; then by the watershed separating the Burdekin from the Cape River and Suttor River easterly to the junction of the Suttor River with the Burdekin River ; and then by last-mentioned river downwards to the point of commencement.
Sub-District No.1.—Commencing on the left bank of the Burdekin River at the junction of the Bowen River, thence by the Burdekin River northwards to the junction of the Bogie River ; thence due west to the coast range ; thence by the said range south-east twenty-five miles ; thence due east ten miles to the point of commencement.
This district includes the telegraph office and public-house at the Lower Burdekin Crossing, Woodhouse Station, the Eight-mile Diggings, and all places between the coast range and the Burdekin River from the junction of the Bowen River to the junction of the Bogie River, and all camps on the Ravenswood and Bowen road between the foot of the range and the Lower Burdekin Crossing.
Sub-District No.2.—Commencing on the left bank of Elphinstone Creek at its junction with the Burdekin River, thence by that creek upwards to its source at the coast range ; thence by the range south-east fifteen miles ; thence due east ten miles to the Burdekin River opposite the junction of the Bowen River ; thence by the Burdekin River upwards to the point of commencement.
This district comprises all that portion of the town of Ravenswood situated on the south-east or left bank of Elphinstone Creek, and includes the following camps:—Sandy Creek, Nolan's Gully, Donnybrook, Middle Camp, Lower Camp (or Kirker's), Ravenswood Head Station, and out stations.
Sub-District No.3.—Commencing on the right bank of Elphinstone Creek at its junction with the Burdekin, and by that creek upwards to its head, thence by the coast range northerly to the head of Pandanus Creek ; thence southerly by a direct line to the junction of the Fanning River with the Burdekin ; thence by the Burdekin River downwards to the point of commencement.
This district comprises that portion of the town of Ravenswood situated on the north-west bank of Elphinstone Creek and the following camps and stations :—"The Old Man" Reef Camp, the Kirk and Rochford Townships, Holmesdown Reefing Camp at head of the Kirk Creek, all places on the
