Commencing on the left bank of the Fitzroy River at the confluence of Etna Creek with that river, and bounded thence on the north-west by a line bearing north-east to the Mount Archer Range ; on the north-east by that range south-easterly to Mount Berrarker ; thence by a line south-easterly to the north corner of portion No. 103, containing forty-four acres two roods, in the parish of Archer ; thence by the north-west boundaries of portions Nos. 108, 102, and 83 in the same parish, south-westerly to the Fitzroy River ; thence on the east by a line crossing the Fitzroy River to the north corner of portion No. 135, containing eighty acres, in the parish of Gavial ; thence by the east boundaries of portions Nos. 135, 136, 150, and 151, and a line bearing south ; on the south by a line bearing west, passing through the southernmost corner of portion No. 48, in the parish of Gavial, to a point bearing south from the south-west corner of portion D, section 37, in the parish of Wood ; on the west by a line bearing north to the said south-west corner, and by Black Gin Creek downwards to Deep Creek, and by Deep Creek downwards to the Fitzroy River, and by the Fitzroy River downwards to Etna Creek, the point of commencement Theophilas Persons Pugh, Police Magistrate Rockhampton.
24 Gladstone-CENTRAL. Commencing at the mouth of the Fitzroy River, and bounded thence by that river upwards to the west boundary of the Herbert town reserve ; then by a line south-west ; then by the watershed separating Raglan Creek, Calliope River, Boyne River, and Baffle Creek from the Don and Dee Rivers, Kroombit Creek, the Burnett River, and Kolan River, easterly to the head of Littabella Creek, and by that creek to its mouth ; thence by the sea-coast northerly to the point of commencement,—inclusive of Curtis Island Charles William Rich, Sub-Collector of Customs and Police Magistrate Gladstone.
25 Bundaberg-SOUTH. Commencing at the mouth of the Elliot River, and bounded thence by the southern watershed of that river westerly ; then by a line bearing north-west crossing the Burnett River to the Kolan River at the junction of Gin Gin Creek ; and by a continuation of the said line north-west to the watershed separating the Kolan River from Baffle Creek ; and by said watershed easterly to the head of Littabella Creek, and by that Creek to its mouth ; and thence by the sea-coast southerly to the point of commencement Horace Burkitt, Sub-Collector of Customs and Police Magistrate Bundaberg.
26 Leichhardt- CENTRAL. Commencing at the junction of the Comet River with the Mackenzie River, and bounded thence by a line bearing east-south-east to the northern bluff of Expedition Range ; thence by said range southerly to the head of Zamia Creek ; then by the watershed separating Zamia Creek from Palm-tree Creek and the Upper Dawson River to the junction of Zamia Creek with the Dawson River ; then by said river upwards to the junction of Cracow Creek ; then by the southern watershed of Cracow Creek easterly to the watershed separating the Dawson River from the Burnett River ; then by said watershed northerly ; then by the range separating the Dawson River from Kroombit Creek and the Dee River, and by a line bearing north-west to Mount Spencer ; then by the western watershed of Googango Creek to its junction with the Fitzroy River ; and thence by the Fitzroy River and Mackenzie River upwards to the point of commencement Edmund Morey, Police Magistrate Banana.
27 Springsure-CENTRAL. Commencing at the junction of the Comet and Mackenzie Rivers, and bounded thence by a line bearing east-south-east to the northern bluff of Expedition Range ; then by that range southerly by the watershed separating the Comet River and Nogoa River from the Maranoa River, Warrego River, and Barcoo River ; then by a line bearing magnetic east to the junction of Balmy Creek with the Nogoa River ; and by that river and the Mackenzie River to the point of commencement John Graham McDonald, Police Magistrate Springsure.
28 Wide Bay-SOUTH. Commencing on the shore of Wide Bay, and bounded thence on the south by a line bearing west to the north boundary of portion L61, parish of Bidwell, and by the northern boundary of portion L61 and the north-eastern boundary of portion L48 westerly, and by the eastern and southern boundaries of portion 30, parish of Bidwell, to Tinana Creek ; then by the dividing line of portion 68 and 69, parish of Tinana, north-westerly to the north-eastern corner of portion 69 ; then by a line bearing west and by the northern boundary of portion 241 westerly ; then by the western boundary of portion 241 south to a point where a line bearing east from the south-eastern corner of portion 61, parish of Young, intersects it ; thence by that line west and by the southern boundary of portions 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, to the south-western corner of portion 57 on the Mary River ; thence by that river upwards to its junction with Myrtle Creek, and thence by Myrtle Creek upwards and the northern Stanley Grantham Hill, Clerk of Petty Sessions Maryborough.
